Geordie Shore - The British Version Of Reality TV Show Jersey Shore - Debuts
NEW British version of Jersey Shore is set to make the US cast look truly sophisticated.
In the midst of the royal wedding frenzy, it's hard to remember that not everything (and everyone) in Britain is posh and quaint - a harsh reminder of this is new reality TV show, Geordie Shore.
The forthcoming MTV show follows the antics of a eight bogantastic twenty-somethings from Newcastle (a city located in the North East of England) captured on film as they hit the local party scene. Like the American show, the group set up home together while their every move is caught on camera.
The group's plush pad includes shared bedrooms, a hot tub for steamy romps and an outhouse for special overnight guests.
Show execs hope the programme will repeat the success of Jersey Shore, which saw 8.4million viewers tuning in for its third series in January making it MTV's most popular series in the States.
THE CAST
Vicky
A 23-year-old call centre worker - and former club door worker - who thinks she can drink any man under the table for fun, and barely makes it out of bed before 2pm when she's not working.
Holly
An 18 year-old who's main party trick involves downing a shot from a glass balanced between her FF fake boobs. Nice!
Sophie
Kasaei thinks she's been banned from Magaluf for her wild antics on holiday there, and says she's got no problems flashing her boobs.
Charlotte
Attention-seeking Charlotte likes to post pictures of herself in just her underwear on Facebook.
Jason
The 24-year old promises to flash as much flesh as the girls - slipping his top off to show his buff body at every opportunity.
Gary
This 23-year old reckons his manhood is the size of a remote control and swears he's "mint" in the bedroom.
James
A self-acknowledged 'himbo' who gets his dad to mark his conquests out of ten,

A party-loving 26-year old who is "out on the Toon" five nights a week.
